Do You Believe In The Constitution? from Animal-Farm
http://animal-farm.us…

Do you believe the Constitution is the rule of law? Do you believe in the original intent of our founding fathers? Do you want to reform Congress? I’m not talking about reforming a Democratic Congress, but Congress. If your answer is yes, we have to work together to make this happen. The goal in its entirety is to make all three branches of government respect and abide by the rule of law, know as the Constitution of the United States of America. The most egregious of offenses against the Constitution is from Congress, so the focus will begin with the Legislative branch. It requires you to do some homework, because you have to know what you are talking about.

Please, if you love America, visit the website above and participate. So very little effort on your part can help preserve the country we love. Thanks!

National Association of Rural Land Owners
http://www.narlo.org/…
NARLO’s mission is to begin the long process of restoring, preserving and protecting Constitutional property rights and returning this country to a Constitutional Republic. Government has done a great job of dividing us up into little battle groups where we are essentially impotent at a national level. “Governments only get powerful because we let them. Political parties get powerful because we let them. Large corporations and legal or illegal organizations get powerful because we let them. Environmental groups get powerful because we let them. Unions get powerful because we let them. The larger these entities become, the more they will try to increase their power. But WE THE PEOPLE in the form of individuals and families have the ultimate power, if we will only exercise that power and if we act as one in the defense of our inalienable rights as granted to us by our creator and instituted into law by men under our Constitution and further by living up to our civic duties, obligations and individual responsibilities. But if we are divided, if we fight amongst ourselves, if we allow ourselves to be bought by the promises of government largess that always comes with a loss of freedom and if we ignore these time-tested constitutional principles, we are rendered impotent and the “powerful” will fill the gap, as they already have, because we let them.”

Factcheck.org: Tax money will pay for abortion in the health-care bill from hotair.com
http://hotair.com/arc…

We already knew this, thanks to Rep. Zoe Lofgren and Barack Obama himself, but it’s nice to get confirmation from those fine folks at Factcheck.org — an Annenberg project, no less. After Obama tried to paint it as a lie, the National Right to Life Committee insisted that ObamaCare would use taxpayer money to fund abortions. It turns out that they were right: The truth is that bills now before Congress don’t require federal money to be used for supporting abortion coverage. So the president is right to that limited extent. But it’s equally true that House and Senate legislation would allow a new “public” insurance plan to cover abortions, despite language added to the House bill that technically forbids using public funds to pay for them. Obama has said in the past that “reproductive services” would be covered by his public plan, so it’s likely that any new federal insurance plan would cover abortion unless Congress expressly prohibits that. Low- and moderate-income persons who would choose the “public plan” would qualify for federal subsidies to purchase it. Private plans that cover abortion also could be purchased with the help of federal subsidies. Therefore, we judge that the president goes too far when he calls the statements that government would be funding abortions “fabrications.” …At any rate, Obama was right — someone’s lying about abortion and ObamaCare. It turned out to be Obama himself.

Energy Workers Rally

Around 1,200 people listened to local leaders rail against cap-and-trade legislation at a rally at McGee Park on Friday afternoon. The American Clean Energy and Security Act, passed by the House and headed to the Senate, aims to limit carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gas emissions scientists have linked to global warming. Speakers, including local political leaders, criticized the legislation, saying it would harm the oil and gas industry on which San Juan County’s economy relies. The legislation would increase oil and gas industry unemployment and energy costs, said Sandel, executive vice president of Aztec Well Servicing Co. Inc. Sandel told the crowd to say, “save our jobs.” Audience members, wearing yellow Energy Citizens T-shirts with pro-energy messages printed across the back, chanted the phrase throughout his speech. “We’re asking for our representatives to care about us,” Sandel said. “We ask that they care about our jobs. We ask that they listen.” Clean-burning natural gas will play a role in promoting alternative energy …Congress should be doing more to encourage local production rather than making it harder,” he said. The goal of the rallies is to let the Senate know that “we care about our jobs and affordable energy, and you need to get this bill right,” said petroleum institute spokeswoman Cathy Landry. “Energy Citizens is not against climate legislation,” Landry said. “Energy Citizens is for sound climate legislation.”
