How To Learn The Truth 101

Posted on January 29, 2010. Filed under: General Info, Watchdog Tools | Tags: , , , |

Since journalism, for the most part, is no longer being practiced in mainstream news, it is more important than ever that you hold the skills to learn the truth about what’s going on.  Facts are powerful things when deciding in whom to place your trust, especially in the increasingly important upcoming fall election cycle.

We have tried, with the launch of our sister site, WatchdogCentral, to put the tools you need in your hands so you may find the answers you seek in a time efficient and effortless manner. Please use the site often and tell your friends about it as well. Truth is the only clear path to breaking the hold corruption has over our government.

As promised we are going to help you learn how to research a candidate, an office holder, an organization. With Watchdog Central, it is easy. I will give you a couple scenarios to get you used to using the site.

Let’s start with the new kid, Scott Brown.

Log on to www.watchdogcentral.org. You’ll see we have broken the info links down into categories. The categories are People, Groups, Government, Connections, Documents, and Videos. Also note we have the Dog House where we will be highlighting a ne’er-do-well every day, Who to Tell, and most importantly The Forum. More on that later.

For this first one, click on People, scroll down and click VoteSmart, enter Scott Brown for name (right side). Up will pop bios, recent news, voting record, finances, issue positions, etc.. I highly recommend RIGHT CLICKING results to open in a new window, so you can go back and forth without loosing your place. All right, but who is he connected with? Close the VoteSmart page. Click Connections there on left side of the WatchdogCentral page.  Go to Muckety and type in Scott P Brown or Scott Brown. This map is pretty clean, but to investigate further (always interesting), look under the map at the list of names and place your cursor over each one. Notice the links for that name show up in a grey box? To check those out further, you merely have to click on the name you highlighted or click the box on the map with the name in it – either way. Close out Muckety. Back on Watchdog Central click Government, scroll down to CampaignMoney.com and click. On that site, click name in the right hand column, then enter Brown. Scroll results- all names are clickable. A nosey person could spend hours on this, particularly when looking at who’s giving money to the PACs involved. Mainly, just look over the names to see if there’s anything particularly interesting or a name you did not expect to find.

Ok, let’s do someone now with more, ahm, background shall we say. Click Government and scroll about halfway down to Maplight.org. Under Legislators, find Nancy Pelosi. View tabbed data. It’s evident lawyers, unions and medical interests love her, which you can plainly see under the first two tabs. Notice, once again, the groups are clickable if desired to learn more in general about them. Notice, for example, when HR800 (card check) came up for a vote in the house, she took union contributions and voted yes. Also, HR2634 (Jubilee Act) sponsored by Maxine Waters to redistribute American wealth globally was supported by Pelosi and praised with contributions from unions. The list goes on. Check out the Geography tab. Notice 87% of her campaign contributions came from OUTSIDE her district, the top five zip codes of which are DC area codes. Does that tell you just who she’s working for? Go back to WatchdogCentral.org and go down to Progressive Punch. Put in her name and you’ll see her lifetime score and liberal rank on issues. Once again, results are clickable. Lowest on her list to support is farmers (of course), and then thankfully prisoners and foreigners. Now back to WatchdogCentral and click OpenCongress, then the Representatives Tab, Pelosi. Here you find the bills she has sponsored and co-sponsored.  Interestingly enough, the first bill on the list is one I never heard of from September 2009. HR3649, a private bill (meaning what, we can’t know what it’s about?) detailed only as “providing for the relief of Maria Carmen Castro Ramirez and J. Refugio Carreno Rojas.” No other information was provided other than it was sent to committee. That’s unacceptable- our government should have to tell us more about what they are doing. That item should be looked into further. Now back to WatchdogCentral, click on Connections (left side of page) and then NNDB, enter Nancy Pelosi at top, click search. This will bring up salient facts on her, including details of political family upbringing, her estimated net worth and personal information. At the bottom of the page note “create a map starting with Nancy Pelosi”. Click that. I see nothing there of note, but you can expand the map points by clicking them to learn more about each one. Using the links on our site, you can find much more information if desired, but in the interest of time and task at hand, let’s move on.

Let’s do a foundation next. Let’s choose the Tides Foundation. So on the WatchdogCentral site, choose Connections, click ActivistCash, on Activist Groups, select Tides Center. Here you will see an overview of their purpose in life. Go back to WatchdogCentral Connections page, click Undue Influence, use toggle to locate Tides Center/Tides Foundation.  Here you can see a little history, how they get their money and where it goes (totals on graph), who’s on their board, the link to their website, etc. All right, now back to WatchdogCentral, and still on the Connections page, scroll up to DiscoverTheNetworks, and enter in Tides Foundation. Here you will see in detail who they are connected to, including George Soros, ACLU, ACORN, World Wildlife Fun, and on and on and on. You can also see their tax filings by going back to WatchdogCentral, to Groups and then to Guidestar.org. At the toggle bar select Non-Profit, enter Tides Foundation. This will bring you up a list, the first of which is the correct one. Click that to get to the tabbed information.  (you may have to register to view some of the info, but it’s easy and free) Click on IRS forms and there you can view some of their filings. Back to site, click Government, and click Lobbying Disclosures. On left side of screen under Public Disclosure Search, click the first option, Lobbying Disclosure Filing Search.  In the new window, on the first toggle bar line where it says “Search Field” toggle to “Client Name” and enter Tides in the adjacent box and hit “Search” at bottom of page. There you will find 37 entries on two pages of lobbying disclosures which are clickable for details. Interesting!

I think maybe you get the idea now of how easy it is to find out information you should definitely know, but that no one is telling you. If you have any questions please contact me by simply clicking the “contact us” button on the home page of WatchdogCentral. I will be happy to help where I can.

The most important part of the site is the forum, in my view. Here you can log on (it’s free of course) and let everyone know what you found out. That’s how we will succeed in sharing info. If you’re on twitter, put the info in the forum and then tweet it so we all know about it.

By all of us working together to do the job the media is not doing, we can illustrate, even to doubters, the ways in which our government is steering far off course, how corrupt our elected officials and candidates are or (in a very few cases) how they are not.

Going forward, please let me know by comment here or webmail from WatchdogCentral ways we can improve the site, ways we can make it easier for you to look things up, or what we can better explain about using it.

Happy Hunting.

Calling all Patriots

Posted on January 28, 2010. Filed under: General Info | Tags: , , |

On November 9th, 2008, after the election of President Obama and during the transition, Rahm “Rahmbo” Emanuel made the following comment on a television interview with George Stephanopoulos:

“President Obama is very clear, as you look at his career, both in the state senate, U.S. Senate, and the campaign, that we have to govern in a bipartisan fashion, and if you look at the way his campaign is run and also the ideas, he has always said that we have to be bipartisan. The challenges are big enough that there’s going to be an ability for people of both parties, as well as independents, to contribute ideas to help meet the challenges on health care, energy, tax reform, education. So that is the tone. That is the policy. And that is exactly how we’re going to go forward.”

It has been “tell the American people one thing while doing the opposite” since this administration started their campaign. Let’s not forget that those important to the campaign, nearly without fail, were given key positions in the administration. They act as if they are still campaigning now.

President Obama in his State of the Union Address blamed everyone but himself for his failures and pledged to continue on his path. He did accept responsibility for not talking to the American people enough. So apparently, just as the Dems made back door deals to bribe crooked politicians for their votes, he will be bribing the American people as well. He has made a threat and apparently means to carry through with it. We either support him and his policies or he will continue to monopolize television on a daily basis, with a preference for 5pm, no doubt. I thought he wasn’t for torture, or was that just another empty campaign promise?

The fact is it’s looking as if things in Washington are going to get worse before they get better. Just because we won one seat in the senate, does not mean things will be easier for us going forward. With crucial elections this fall, it is imperative everyone who is concerned with the direction our federal government needs to get involved to make a difference. The Obama machine is already organizing for elections. They have ads in Craigslist, etc.. hiring their “grass roots” cogs to grease the wheels. They have the names, phone numbers and emails of everyone who pledged or donated to Obama and will be calling them adnauseam, no doubt.

I am asking you to do your homework then tell your friends what you know. Check all the candidates out. Know their history by looking up actual facts and NOT by believing what they tell you or what those asinine television ads say.

Organize, join the campaign of the person you believe in. Work the phone bank and spread your knowledge of why this person is a good candidate for the people.

Please do not take shortcuts. The future of the country is too important.

We will put up instructions tomorrow and leave them up until Monday night on HOW to look up information on these people; on HOW to find out what your elected officials were REALLY doing. Please stop by sometime between Friday night at ten and Monday night at ten to spend ten minutes or so to find out HOW and WHERE to get the HONEST answers you need going forward. Please, spread the word on this primer over the weekend too. We will make it easy for you to get the information, but you have to do the rest. We need all hands on deck to turn this country back around later this year.

Promises and Lies

Posted on January 27, 2010. Filed under: General Info | Tags: , |

President Obama’s State of the Union Address, well, many adjectives come to mind.

Some portions were encouraging, some were uplifting. While I found many parts laughable, they were almost outnumbered by those which I found nauseating. Especially troubling were those which evoked the Constitution, the founding fathers, American values in the context of government and common sense in government.
Give me a break. As if they had been paying attention to any of that over the last year.

I must say the speech writers did an excellent job, deserving of “fiction writers of the year” nod, to be sure.

Mr. Obama encouraged Dems not to run for the hills and said Republicans would have to learn to work with the Democrats. (eye roll) He also touted his attempts at open government and transparency.

They really do think we’re stupid. My God.

For those who were involved in our little pools here, the following were the official tallies:

119 “I” or “me” references
44 Jump ups to applaud for Pelosi

I did not count “we”s as they were not part of the pool, however, he said that word over 200 times (averaging about every tenth word). No doubt to avoid the “I” / “me” thing he has taken a lot of heat for.

Thank God it wasn’t a drinking game, we would all surely have alcohol poisoning. Also, Thank God I didn’t have to count lies, misrepresentations or half-truths.

It’s Official: Dems Declare War on Teapartiers (aka Right Wing Extremists)

Posted on January 26, 2010. Filed under: General Info, Soapbox | Tags: , , , , , |

Fox News is now reporting the Dems are coming after us, fellow 912er’s and tea party participants. According to Fox:

Senate Democrats, seeking to breathe new life into their 2010 electoral prospects after their shocking loss in Massachusetts last week, are unveiling a new war strategy: divide and conquer the GOP.

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee passed out a memo Tuesday advising Democratic campaign managers to define their Republican opponents early and to highlight the differences between moderate voters and tea party-style conservatives.

“Given the pressure Republican candidates feel from the extreme right in their party, there is a critical — yet time-sensitive — opportunity for Democratic candidates,” the DSCC wrote in the memo, which was obtained by FoxNews.com. “We have a finite window when Republican candidates will feel susceptible to the extremists in their party. Given the urgent nature of this dynamic, we suggest an aggressive effort to get your opponents on the record.”

The memo encourages Democratic candidates to compel their opponents to answer a series of questions on issues that have helped boost the tea party movement and reveal cracks in GOP unity, including health care, taxes and President Obama’s citizenship and ideology.

It goes on to list some of the questions:

“Do you believe that Barack Obama is a U.S. citizen? Do you think the 10th Amendment bars Congress from issuing regulations like minimum health care coverage standards? Do you think programs like Social Security and Medicare represent socialism and should never have been created in the first place? Do you think President Obama is a socialist? Do you think America should return to a gold standard?”

I have a few questions for them:

Do you believe in the Constitution of the United States of America?

Have you personally read the Constitution of the United States of America?

Since you took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America, can you tell us when exactly you plan to start doing that? Of course if you haven’t memorized the Constitution yet, can you tell me what makes you qualified to hold the job you do?

Exactly where in the Constitution of the United States of America does it say you can abuse your power by attempting to ram so called “reforms” down the throat of citizens who do not want any part of them?

Exactly where in the Constitution does it say you are entitled to luxury health care and entitlement programs not available to and paid for by hard working citizens of this country?

Exactly where in the Constitution does it call for Executive Orders? Bills to be “negotiated” behind closed doors? Vote counts to be corrupted? Lobbyists to buy favor? Expense accounts for government representatives that dwarf the average worker’s salary? Salaries for elected officials to be over 5 times that of the average worker? Where exactly does it say you can take my rights given me by GOD? Where exactly does it say you may impinge on my free speech? Where exactly does it say you can hand out free sex kits to my children at school? I would like you to point out the part that says you can send our jobs overseas, drive down the value of our dollar and steal the equity in our homes. I would also like you to point out the part that says you can fund banks, insurance companies and auto companies with our tax dollars. As long as you’re at it show me where it says the size of government is supposed to exceed that of the private sector.

Instead of preferring we get our news from stations with anchors that mention Lincoln as their favorite founding father, why don’t worry about studying the actual founding fathers and their intent.

If you think you have issues now with the American voter.. go ahead and ask your questions, that way we will know exactly who to vote for. It sure as hell is not going to be any of you.

The days of the Progressive in Washington DC are numbered. You may as well wear signs that say “endangered species”.

Just in case you pull an Obama on us and pretend our memories are about a day long, we have your records and we aren’t afraid to look them up.

Mr President, I know you’re going to try to sound like a moderate during the State of The Union Address, but we have a LOT of video we can repeatedly roll out to remind people you are for FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE – only now, many of us know exactly what that means, and we’re not buying it.

You said you would rather be a good one term president that a bad two term president ???  I think you left out an option there- just sayin’.

Those of you who heard the rumors but didn’t believe citizens who cherish the Constitution and a sound financial system were labeled “Right Wing Extremists” by your government – do you need more proof?

DSCC’s website says they are “Building Lasting Change For President Obama”. They sure aren’t doing it for the American people they are supposed to be representing. These are the members of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee responsible for the “memo” :

Leadership:

Harry Reid, Nevada Senator/ Senate Majority Leader

Bob Menendez, New Jersey Senator, DSCC Chair

Senior Staff

J.B. Poersch, Executive Director

Elizabeth Lowery, Finance Director

Martha McKenna, Political Director

Jude Meche, Director of IT

Eric Schultz, Communications Director

Darlene Setter, Comptroller

Jason Rosenbaum, New Media Director

In Support of Hillbuzz

Posted on January 25, 2010. Filed under: Enemies of The State, General Info | Tags: , , , , , |

And they wonder why we call them all “Chicago Thugs”.

I’m currently reading “Game Change” and highly recommend the book to any political junkie out there. It contains behind the scenes action on the entire 2008 Presidential campaign from both sides, starting in the beginning leading to the primaries. It’s definitely an education. I am finding much the info helpful at decoding current events, as well.

I see all of the operatives on the left coming out acting as if they are one of us and it makes me literally sick to my stomach. They are not one of us, be it republican, independent or traditional democrat. Case in point:

It came to my attention the boys at hillbuzz are taking heat from the Chicago hierarchy for backing Scott Brown. I urge you to support them any way you can. Put their column on your feed, donate money if you can afford to, or at least visit often. I have added it to my blogroll (bottom blue section) to show my support.

These guys are democrats. They supported Hillary in the primaries and McCain after Hillary dropped out. They supported Brown in the explosive Massachusetts Senate election.

I have included snippets from their lengthy open letter to readers, but you’ll want to read it in full if you have time. I found it to prove every point we have made about not only Chicago politics, but the way our current leaders in Washington are conducting themselves.

…Without getting into the ugly details and specifics, because we’re trying to cling to some semblance of privacy and a personal life here, we were warned two weeks ago to discontinue our support for Republican candidate Scott Brown or suffer consequences for backing him, at the expense of Martha Coakley.  We were told, point blank, by Democrats in Chicago that people on the Left had “had enough with (us), and were going to come after (us), in a big way” if we didn’t stop rallying the troops for Scott Brown’s win over Coakley.  We were given the ultimatum:  either drop our support for Brown and the Left would leave us alone, or continue speaking out on Hottie McAwesome’s behalf and “just see what happens”.

….Not a single Democrat stood up and said, “This is madness.  We can’t force something like this through in the dead of night or break all of our promises for transparency like this.  I must vote against this bill until it is handled in a more honorable and democratic way.”  Not a single one of them had the guts to stand up to their party, to stand up for regular Americans.

So, we looked to candidate Scott Brown, and his promise to defeat this monstrous Healthcare Rationing bill, and we knew we had to go all-in for him.  Even if that meant, as we were warned here in Chicago, that the Left would come after us.

…These are the people who threw rocks through our windows in 2008 because we had Hillary Clinton posters in them, and who’ve called us racists consistently for not supporting Dr. Utopia, as either a candidate or the Socialist in Chief he is now.  That’s what the Left does to anyone who defies them:  they call you a racist, harass you, and threaten violence against you.

They really crossed a line this time, though.  They are no longer just attacking the entity that is “HillBuzz”, but those at the Daily Kos, DemocraticUnderground, Moveon.org and other George Soros, DNC-backed troll mills have ratcheted up their attacks to the personal level.

…But, the Kossacks and Moveon.organisms have decided to attack us on the personal, not just the site, level.  They are using some of our real names, urging their members to do us personal and physical harm in our real lives, and calling us racists over and over again in the hopes of making us unemployable in the future — because they’ve libeled us by calling us RAAACISTS! on that personal level.

And, you know what, this tactic does have an immediate psychological and financial impact.  This weekend, after these attacks from the Kossacks and Moveon.organism began, we lost two freelance jobs because the nonprofits we were working with felt they can’t be associated with people who are being called racists, since these nonprofits work in the black community and here in Chicago there is a neverending turf war on the Southside, where anything is game when it comes to business or politics.  People who’ve worked with us in the past decided their own jobs would be in jeopardy if they had us on upcoming projects, because if the black community was riled up against these organizations for having people called RAAACISTS! on the team, then their own jobs would be lost.  The way it works is this:  if you have a job in the black community, there is always someone out there who wants that job instead of you, and that person will look for any sort of hook to yank you from that job so they can take it. This RAAACIST garbage is always a favorite hook.

And it is the chief weapon of the Left against just about everyone.

They’ve been using this for decades now.

They use it to scare people into silence.  They force people to drop what they are doing and spend hours defending themselves, trying to prove they’re not what they were accused of.  They demoralize you with the RAAACIST rants, and try to ruin your lives with them.  They cost you work, take food off your table, and threaten your personal safety and well being.

The Left did this to the Clintons in 2008.

The Left does this to Sarah Palin.

The Left has done this to too many people to ever count.

The Left is doing this to us now, on a personal level, because we backed Scott Brown, came up with the Hottie McAwesome tactic to defuse their best attacks against him, and refused to buckle and shut up when we were told to.

…This is really what Democrats have become at this point.

The party we loved our whole life has been taken over by thugs, who threaten, libel, malign, persecute, and extort anyone who does not fall in line with their Liberal-Socialist agenda.  We’ve been on the receiving end of this harassment since November of 2007, when we started campaigning in Iowa for Hillary Clinton and first found ourselves on the receiving ends of Alinsky Method techniques.  All of that increased 10, 100, and 1000 fold after we launched this site, started up Democrats for McCain efforts after Hillary suspended her presidential bid in June 2008, and we started actively promoting Sarah Palin as America’s best hope for the future in 2009.

…This weekend was a fork in the road for us.  We had to make the decision on whether or not we wanted to continue speaking out on politics in the face of personal attacks that have jeopardized our livelihood, our personal safety, and our lives as we know it.  Is writing for this site and talking to all of you every day worth that?  Is America worth fighting for if it could cost us everything?

Hells yah.

BRING IT ON.

We are more committed than every to working hard every day from now until 2012 to ensure Dr. Utopia is defeated, is exiled to Hawaii as a one-term Carteresque president, and that every Liberal is driven from Washington like the snakes from Ireland.  In fact, on the mirror in the bathroom here at Buzzquarters, we have that last line tacked up on a Post-in.  LIKE THE SNAKES FROM IRELAND. This motivates us to keep on fighting, keep on writing, and raise our game to new levels to do everything we can to provide the grassroots strategy to take down the Left.

…We’ll make a deal with all of you out there:  we will continue to work hard and never give up, never let these threats and attacks phase us, if you would just raise your own game to help counter the Left too.

By no means are we asking you to put yourselves into the hurricane too.  We will take that heat for you, but we need you to help us with Action Items.  We need you to help us put immense pressure on every Democrat, and every Democrat donor to the DNC, to grind the current administration’s socialist agenda to a halt.

We need you to break all habits of sitting around and doing nothing, and start getting involved in your communities, to start mobilizing your friends, family, and neighbors to hold our government accountable.

We need you to stand up to the MSM and get through to all the complacent, pessimistic Eeyores out there.

We need you to form a counter force to the Left, and its legions of trolls, orcs, goblins and other monsters.

We’re under assault because we, through no intention of our own oddly enough, have become a rallying point.  We posed a threat to these Kossacks and Moveon.organisms, a threat to the Soros agenda, and we’re taking heat for it.  That must mean we are on the right track.

Hang in there Hillbuzz – we are with you all the way!

Please Support H.R. 4453 and Ask Your Representative to Co-Sponsor

Posted on January 21, 2010. Filed under: General Info | Tags: , , , |

Yesterday a friend of mine sent me a post nicely done by Nancy Jacques from As A Mom , in which she talks about her interaction with Congressmen Mike Rogers (R-MI), a former FBI agent. He has introduced bill H.R.4453 to repeal the Executive Order signed December 16, 2009 by President Obama which would grant special privileges and diplomatic immunities to Interpol. The bill is currently co-sponsored by the following six Representatives:

  • Rep. Vern Buchanan [R, FL-13]
  • Rep. Dan Burton [R, IN-5]
  • Rep. John Duncan [R, TN-2]
  • Rep. Walter Jones [R, NC-3]
  • Rep. Kenny Marchant [R, TX-24
  •   Please join her in her campaign to influence others to co-sponsor the bill as well. She crafted the following letter for you to utilize, if you wish, to send your congressperson. She did a fine job of illustrating the importance and the issues involved with what President Obama is trying to implement upon the American people by unconstitutional use of Executive Order. Executive orders circumvent the legislative process by not requiring approval of the Senate, House or the American People. Before sending the letter, it is imperative that you digest what she is trying to illustrate. President Obama has, to date signed 44 executive orders, including three signed 01/22/2010 which are not posted yet to the disposition tables. This is just another example of the Obama Administration creating legislation and policy behind closed doors. I urge you to send this letter, or one similar, off to your Representative.

    Dear Honorable Congress Member,

I urge you to please co-sponsor H.R. 4453 to revoke Executive Order 13524.

It is urgent that I let you know that Two days after the President was sworn in, he began putting other dangerous legislative mechanisms in place; hence, it is critical to revoke EO 13524 as a first step.  Please review this, and you will understand the framework that is being put into place.

DoD Directive 1404.10: DoD Civilian Expeditionary Workforce dated Jan 23, 2009 which builds and authorizes a civilian ‘Force’ to operate within the DoD. The 2009 directive does not mention the term “overseas” even once.” http://www.dtic.mil/whs/directives/corres/pdf/140410p.pdf

H.R. 675: TO AMEND TITLE 10, United States Code, to provide police officers, criminal investigators, and game law enforcement officers of the Department of Defense with authority to execute warrants, make arrests, and carry firearms.” introduced Jan 26, 2009 (in committee) to expand the DoD Forcehttp://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-675

H.R. 645: “National Emergency Centers Establishment Act” introduced Jan 22, 2009 (in committee) which creates facilities to house people under the direct control of DHS (not FEMA)  http://www.govtrack.us/congress/billtext.xpd?bill=h111-645

RAND Corp Report – A Stability Police Force for the U.S. [text excerpt: “CONCLUSIONS”]

    Conclusions

“Weighing all considerations, the researchers concluded that the best option would be a 6,000-person hybrid force headquartered in the U.S. Marshals Service. The personnel in reserve status could be employed in state and local police forces so they would be able to exercise police functions in a civilian population daily and could be called up as needed. The Marshals Service was deemed to have many of the requisite skills. However, its training and management capabilities would need to be expanded to take on this large mission, and it would have to recruit additional personnel as well. The annual cost, $637 million, is reasonable given the capability it buys. The cost savings in relieving military forces of these duties could be greater than required to create the SPF.

The Military Police option was attractive for a number of reasons, especially its capacity, training, and logistical capabilities, but its inability to engage in policing activities when not deployed was a major stumbling block. The Posse Comitatus Act precludes military personnel from exercising police functions in a civilian setting, and legislative relief might be difficult to get. Even if such relief were forthcoming, it is unclear where and how routine police skills might be honed.

Creation of a civilian SPF would not affect the roles that other elements of the U.S. government would play. Rather, it would complement other agencies such as the departments of Defense and State. But the SPF would provide a necessary capability, and the U.S. Army should support its creation.”

I am so hopeful that you can reverse/revoke the dangerous legislative instruments that this administration is putting in place.  I’ll await your response to this URGENT matter.

    Thank you so much,

Nothing is sacred to the left

Posted on January 21, 2010. Filed under: Enemies of The State, General Info | Tags: , , , |

Democrats wonder why they lost the election in Massachusetts Tuesday. Apparently they have either lost the ability to comprehend or have taken loss of both their vision and hearing. I am not sure which it is. Clearly, there is a disconnect somewhere.

The left has spent the last forty eight hours finger pointing when they should have just shut up and take notice. When it was best advised to show contrition for their overbearing, unconstitutional and criminal behavior, they instead continued their suicidal path.

I found it interesting that on election day, knowing they stood almost no chance to win in Massachusetts, Rolling Stone, typical of other left leaning publications, printed stories underlining my point:By all appearances, Democrats are poised to lose their 60 vote super majority on the staggering weakness of Martha Coakley and the Worst Campaign Ever. Indeed, Coakley’s top campaign adviser, venting precriminations, has all but conceded defeat. Her competitor, the hunky former Cosmo centerfold Scott “I Drive a Truck” Brown has run a flawless campaign, using man-of-the-people populism to mask his narrow partisan ideology.

Give me a break.. and you wonder why you lost. Maybe it’s because hard working, tax paying Americans are sick and tired of being the object of your third grade bully mentality. Maybe it’s because we are tired of being the brunt of your jokes. Maybe we’re tired of living by the overburdensome rules elitist politicians place on us while doing any damn thing they please, legal or not.

No, they think it’s because their candidate let them down. They say we’re the dumb ones.

While voters were casting votes for Scott Brown, they were having closed door meetings on how to continue to circumvent the voters wishes without a filibuster proof majority. Wonder why they lost?????

Further evidence of case in point are the following incidences occurring during the election:

Signs ordinance in Massachusetts regarding election signs is the requirement they be no closer to the entrance to polling places than 150′. Really, As posted at electionjournal.org, there were numerous RECORDED instances of signs for Coakley placed in immediate proximity to the polling place entrance… but this one takes the cake!

And how’s this for polite and civil behavior? Apparently this reporter is not one of their paid flunkies:

More seriously, this woman is handing out absentee ballots on the street (illegal) with instructions to vote for Coakley, of course.

Also interesting was this press release from the day PRIOR to the election from the Coakley office. Really? Why are people receiving ballots prior to election day?

(obviously this is most likely bogus allegations which were released prematurely- insert your own punch line here)

    Newsreal blog reported this Monday:

The most disgraceful thing is happening!

Pro-lifers are receiving phone calls from people claiming to be Mass Citizens.  The callers say that Mass Citizens is not supporting Scott Brown because of his position on health care!

The truth is that Mass Citizens is supporting Brown because of his position on health care!

These deceitful calls are coming from 202-461-3441, a Washington, DC number.  The phone company says this is a company called SOOH.  Pro-lifers are not the only victims of this scam.  Our MCFL sleuths have found that this same number is calling people across the state claiming to be different groups with different messages – all anti-Brown!

America is watching and will now take cameras and cell phones to the polling place with them as a matter of course. Patriots will distribute phone numbers to call to report voter fraud or any irregular occurrences. We will no longer allow this. Those holding office such as Secretary of States or Federal Election Commission personnel should take notice- we will not allow you to shove these actions done purposely and with malice into your circular files. We ARE taking our country back and in our country, elections are sacred.

Every Honest American Needs To Read This Before Tuesday

    Posted on January 17, 2010. Filed under: Enemies of The State | Tags: , , , , , , , |

After alleged ACORN voter fraud in Minnesota,  the alleged Voter Fraud in NY23, coupled by the way the so called “counts” were handled, I am extremely concerned about Tuesday’s special election in Massachusetts.

In Minnesota only partial counts were done and in a very shady and seemingly unconstitutional manner, based on what I had read in the WSJ online:

Consider the inconsistencies: One county “found” 100 new votes for Mr. Franken, due to an asserted clerical error. Decision? Add them. Ramsey County (St. Paul) ended up with 177 more votes than were recorded election day. Decision? Count them. Hennepin County (Minneapolis, where I voted — once, to my knowledge) came up with 133 fewer votes than were recorded by the machines. Decision? Go with the machines’ tally. All told, the recount in 25 precincts ended up producing more votes than voters who signed in that day…..Thus, citizens’ right to vote — the right to vote! — was made subject to political parties’ gaming strategies. Insiders agree that Mr. Franken’s team played a far more savvy game than Mr. Coleman’s. The margin of Mr. Franken’s current lead is partly the product of a successful what’s-mine-is-mine-what’s-yours-is-vetoed strategy, and of the Coleman team’s failure to counter it.

I just feel deep down in my gut those who seek to buy votes to pass unconstitutional legislation, will not hesitate, time after time to fix elections. In my humble opinion, they have done it twice this cycle alone, they will not hesitate to do it again. They feel they must put down the “counter revolution”.  Their disdain for teaparty participants is well known and blatant. It is well known Massachusetts voting machines are easily hacked.  I will attempt to highlight for you here, in gross detail, how they are doing it. Please, pay close attention. It is important for your country.

    Here’s how they do it:

They actually have proven strategies on how to steal an election:

Here I present three links which need to be read by every single voting American. These are serious bit by bit how to’s – exactly what to do and how to do it – mind boggling! Take a deep breath and read:

How to: Do Election Fraud, Steal Elections or Fix a Vote Part 1

How to: Do Election Fraud, Steal Elections or Fix a Vote Part 2

How to Use Optical Scan Voting to Do Election Fraud, Steal Elections or Fix a Vote and Escape Detection by a Postelection Audit

I worried about highlighting this information, but honestly, as it was pointed out by a friend of mine – those who WOULD do this already know. It’s us, the American voter who does not, but NEEDS to know this information.

Massachusetts is asking for Republican poll monitors. Apparently there was not trouble finding enough ACORN and SEIU members to staff the Democrat Poll Watcher side. I am begging you, for your country, if you live in Massachusetts, PLEASE be a poll monitor Tuesday!

A very good site is BlackboxVoting.org which I recommend you book mark and refer to often this year as elections approach. If you can afford to donate to them I urge you to do so. I will also post it to our sister site www.WatchdogCentral.org for safe keeping too. On Sunday they printed the following advice in a very worthwhile article I suggest you read entitled WHAT TO DO ABOUT MASSACHUSETTS  which I have included a snippet from here:

WHAT EVERYONE CAN DO TO HELP WITH PUBLIC AUTHENTICATION

“Poll watching” is a good and important thing to do, but it does very little to protect results. Let’s assume that the political parties and various members of the public will get out there and poll watch, to make sure that registered voters can vote and no non-legitimate votes get into the pool.

Nowadays, with computerized counting and absentee voting, two key steps are removed from public right to see and authenticate:

    (1) Computerized counting removes public right to see and authenticate the count. After the fact audits do not replace or restore this. One of the “essential steps” is the original count, and no “after the fact” procedure — especially one which takes place after ballots are transported — can replace public right to see and authenticate the original count.

    (2) Absentee voting removes public right to see who actually casts each vote.

So what can we do? I say that citizens both in and outside of Massachusetts can help protect the election, because we can all help pinpoint municipalities that merit special vigilance.

THE SEA IS VAST AND EACH CITIZEN’S BOAT IS SMALL

Massachusetts has 351 election jurisdictions. We can help Massachusetts residents pick locations to watch — and “watch” does NOT mean just during the live election. Election Night and the days following the election are perhaps even more important!

Those of us who live outside Massachusetts can help locate possible problem areas. How? By Googling around to see where there were anomalies, allegations, election complaints, or irregularities in the past. Tune into local races, like past mayor, sheriff or town council elections. Flag locations of interest by e-mailing them to crew@blackboxvoting.org or posting information here or in the Massachusetts section of this Web site.

    For example:
ACUSHNET — April 16, 2008: “As questions swirl around the shredding of absentee ballot envelopes just two days after the April 7 town election…”

Yep. Let’s put Acushnet on the Watch List. I’d also add Methuen, where LHS Associates is located (and where a family member of an LHS guy was working for the city); and Lawrence. Please share your nominations for Massachusetts Watch List municipalities!

    – – – – – – –
    QUICK PRIMER: UNIQUE ASPECTS OF
    MASSACHUSETTS ELECTIONS

    1. They don’t run elections by counties, but instead by municipalities. Massachusetts municipalities can be found on the Black Box Voting .ORG Web site in the Massachusetts section, here’s the link:

    http://www.bbvforums.org/forums/messages/149/149.html

This is an interactive site where you can help archive information you find within each municipality and for the state as a whole.

    2. Massachusetts uses computerized voting machines (mostly the Diebold/Premier Accuvote scanners, with a few antiquated ES&S Optech scanners scattered around), they have a “paper trail” but do not allow the public to watch the counting of the paper ballots, and the state imposes restrictions on candidates seeking recounts which can block ability to recount if margins exceed a certain threshold.

    3. Massachusetts does not have Wild West-style vote by mail, and places at least some restrictions on absentee voting, such as the requirement to request an absentee ballot. That said, in this election they’ve been pushing pretty hard for in-person requests and in-person absentee voting. That is somewhat troubling.

    4. By and large, Massachusetts election officials don’t use the Diebold/Premier “GEMS” central tabulator. LHS Associates DOES use it, to prepare the memory cards, and LHS sometimes lets certain election officials also have it and shows them how to make their own memory cards.

RECONCILING BALLOTS, POLL BOOKS, EARLY/FINAL COUNTS, AND POLL TAPES

This is the method used by Richard Hayes Phillips and Paddy Shaffer to spot impossible numbers in Ohio in the 2004 general election, and this simple kind of audit is still one of the best ways to spot problems!

    1. The number of people who sign in to the poll book should match the number of votes cast. Sometimes it can be off by one or two, but in that case, you will always have one or two FEWER votes than the number of people who signed in. Any number off by more than one or two, or any time there are more votes than voters, you’ve got an anomaly (in the first case) or an impossible number (if more votes than voters). Such discrepancies merit a loud shout.

    2. The results should not show a large variance from initial results to final results (which are certified several days after the election), at least, not without an explanation and documents to back it up.

    3. The numbers on the poll tapes should: (a) have correct date and times; (b) match the initial results — sometimes you have to add poll tape plus absentee plus machine-unreadable ballots; (c) should be signed by poll workers (d) should have header and footer information intact and (e) should have signed, time-stamped “zero results” attached. Any discrepancies need to be red-flagged.

    4. The number of ballots delivered, used, unused, and spoiled should appear on a polling place reconciliation form signed by poll workers, and the numbers need to add up. Any location that fails to account for its blank (unused) ballots needs to be red-flagged.

MOST AMERICANS DON’T UNDERSTAND WHERE THE BIG RISKS ARE WITH VOTE BY MAIL

Picture this: Suppose you have people dumping REAL voters into the voter registration list, without their knowledge. This is possible by insiders, in states with Internet voter registration, and by outsiders, by copying names out of phone books or just finding lists of addresses. Some of these people will be duplicates and are weeded out. But after dups are removed, what will remain is a whole bunch of REAL names on the list for people who rarely vote (thus were not registered) and are unaware that they are even registered. This is the real risk for Internet registration, and for the so-called “voter registration modernization” which heads us toward dumping everyone on the rolls based on driver’s licenses etc., and for the kinds of violations publicized with ACORN.

When you combine voter list stuffing with vote by mail, you open up a huge vector for fraud: Insiders casting votes in the name of real people who are registered voters but unlikely to vote.

In other words, the risk for large, wholesale vote-by-mail fraud is not with some dead guys, nor is it with the non-matching signatures. The real risks are with the signatures that DO match and the voters who are REAL, but don’t vote and who may not even know they are registered. As for faking the sig match: This is a trivial little end-run but merits a separate write-up.

Now, when you start pushing people to come in personally to apply and drop off absentee ballots, you also add risks for an insider operation for counterfeit absentee voting, by eliminating post office records. You also don’t have to deal with the tricky little detail of where to mail a bunch of unasked-for ballots. Absentee applications can magically appear (a bunch of people “dropped them off”) and voted absentee ballots for the matching names can sprout like mushrooms (people “dropped them off”, you know).

Absentee voting already has a rich and proven history of fraud, just ask any Appalachian state, and is being ramped up in Massachusetts for this election. And it’s a bit troubling.

Here’s one strategy that can be used to detect counterfeit absentee-dumping: Because it requires an insider, there will be considerable variation among the 351 municipalities as to whether insider absentee fraud is doable. So by comparing the percentage of absentee votes between municipalities, it should be possible to pick out locations with higher-than-normal absentee participation.

    VOTING MACHINE FORENSICS

For more detailed examination of voting machine and tabulator functionality, here are some of the diagnostic reports available by request. These are all considered non-proprietary and fall under public records laws.

POLLING PLACE VOTING MACHINE AUDIT TAPES: Each polling place voting machine can print an audit tape. Typically they just print the results tape, but there are two additional options: The AccuVote machines can also print a “long tape” which shows results in more detail, including blank ballots; and they can print an “Audit Tape”, which shows important information like when the machine was turned off or on, whether someone pushed an override button, and so forth.

CENTRAL TABULATOR AUDIT LOGS: Most Massachusetts locations don’t use the central machine that adds up multiple polling place results, but some jurisdictions, like Boston and Cambridge, may use the GEMS central tabulator. If so, GET THE AUDIT LOG. Get it in electronic form. This will show many different events, all of them important. This central tabulator runs on Windows, so also request an electronic copy of the Windows Event Log, the Windows System Log, and the Windows Administrative log. GEMS runs over 80 different kinds of diagnostic reports; here are links to examples:

    http://www.blackboxvoting.org/report-samples1.pdf
    http://www.blackboxvoting.org/report-sample2.pdf

    http://www.blackboxvoting.org/report-samples11.pdf
    http://www.blackboxvoting.org/report-samples12.pdf

One of the most useful reports is in sample 8, which shows whether duplicate memory cards were created. The example here shows one precinct that had an extra memory card (ballot box) created, but in Putnam County Florida after the 2004 election, every precinct had 2-3 memory cards (ballot boxes). This is important information for tracking chain of custody.

    TOOL KITS

For more information, such as how to request public records, or details on looking at audit logs or automating collection of preliminary results, go to our Tool Kit page: http://www.blackboxvoting.org/toolkit.html — both the 2008 and the earlier Tool Kit contain many valuable suggestions.

It is important to note that high on the coming agenda is Universal Voter Registration, which if allowed to pass will Permanently degrade the sanctity of the American vote going forward.

If you live in Massachusetts, I am asking you to please consider voting for Scott Brown.

If you live outside Massachusetts and wish to help, they are looking for phone bank helpers (from your home in any state). I am asking you to follow the recommendations of BlackboxVoting.org. Of course, Scott Brown for Senate is accepting cash donations as well.

    Hopes Lie in Rubble

    Posted on January 15, 2010. Filed under: General Info, Soapbox | Tags: , , , |

What has happened in Haiti is terrible beyond words. My heart goes out to the people there and I wish them strength toward a quick recovery.

As I watched news coverage yesterday, something struck me. It reminded me of something I noticed during the aftermath of Katrina.

Many of those that thankfully made it through alive and well were just hovering on the street, and some were looting. Perhaps as many as hundreds of thousands of people lay buried in the rubble. The looters went into the buildings to take, stepping over dead bodies along the way. The people were asking for help and help is coming.

The looters were not the norm, but just the ever present segment of society waiting to perch upon people at their lowest. Unfortunately it is a universal phenomenon.

The majority stood awestruck in disbelief at what had, in a blink of an eye, happened to them, their families and their country. Families huddled together trying to console one another.

But, just as in Katrina it seemed they were reluctant to give aid to themselves. Perhaps it was shock.

I felt compassion toward these people, but merely wondered why they were not helping to find people who may still be alive or helping remove debris where needed, especially where there may be live people under that rubble. Perhaps, I thought they could help in providing minor medical aid to those who require it, or comfort a child who can not locate their parents. Instead the videos showed people merely gathering in the street looking on.

In the aftermath of Katrina we saw the same behavior. Many who were fully capable of helping with the clean up or helping with the injured, etc.. did nothing. As a matter of fact, there are the unforgettable videos of some criticizing the government who warned them, blatantly, they needed to leave and if they chose to stay they would be on their own for days awaiting aid. They stayed, and blamed the government for what happened to them during and after the storm. I have not yet seen that in Haiti.

I don’t believe our government handled the Katrina situation well, either, for the record. That’s another issue.

The pictures coming out of Haiti were different today. Just as it took several days for some, and I mean literally, only some, residents to share what they had left in the way of food, supplies, energy after Katrina, some Haitian residents came forward today. Some were handing out prepared rice to people for nourishment, some were helping pull people, alive and dead, out of the rubble. They had reclaimed their country, despite this latest terrible setback. They were beginning to take responsibility, not for the tragedy they had no control over, but rather where to go from this point forward. It seems, perhaps, the shock of it all was starting to wear off and the rebuilding of their lives had begun. We should all help in any way possible.

My point is that most often the help you need lies at the end of your own arms and in your own heart. The world will follow. My biggest fear for Haiti, is those in charge. The government there is known for it’s corruption. Just as we have seen in other developing countries around the globe, those in power have a tendency to usurp what rightfully belongs to the people.

In no means to belittle the tragedy in Haiti, or in Katrina, I must say it reminds me of the inner cities here in America. The able bodied lie in wait for the Calvary to come. The Calvary is over rated. Take a look at the mismanagement involved when ever government is in control. It staggers the mind. Yet, many rely solely upon it, instead of their own efforts and abilities.

That’s the direction our country will head if the current administration has their way.

For years the left has taught their warped version of history in our schools, has dumbed the people down and attempted to instill a sense of entitlement to them. Made them feel helpless, hopeless. Blighted surroundings and blighted spirit will do that.

Just as there has been massive amounts of abuse in the inner cities regarding funds relinquished in order to rebuild, to revamp, to renew, there are massive amounts of money on it’s way to Haiti. My fear is money earmarked for the people goes to the corrupt politicians and gang chiefs. The people are left to suffer.

I pray that is not the case for the people of Haiti.

I pray the trend reverses here at home, too.  I see nothing but the opposite with the current administration. Hope and change – not so much. Hoax and change is much more like it.

Corrupt governments do not work. Socialist, fascist governments do not work. Yet, so many who have been abused by their misplaced trust will, no doubt suffer more, if the current Washington agenda is not stopped. We need to educate those who see no other road. Freedom, not slavery, is the only way to achieve self-love and self-confidence. True hope comes from within but can be nurtured and fostered by society.

Haiti is a republic, and was the first independent nation in Latin America, gained by a successful slave rebellion. In recent times, however, Haiti has been ridden with corruption and greed on the part of the government. Very much akin to the inner cities here in America. Where there were once great shinning trophies of success as a result of self reliance and entrepreneurship, now lies rubble and distress.

If you are financially able to provide assistance to those in Haiti, who will need our help for years going forward, please visit  state.gov or www.cidi.org or of course, the Red Cross . In any case, please pray for them. Pray too for those in our inner cities to find the help they need within to reclaim and rebuild as well.

    Telling Index Just Released

    Posted on January 14, 2010. Filed under: General Info | Tags: , , |

The National Republican Trust has just released the “Peolosi Index”, detailing the vote so you can see who stands for big government and who stands in it’s way.

It’s very interesting to see just who may be worthy of retaining their seat and who is not. I agree with their assessment that the most important thing a voter can do is educate themselves.

Here are some of the highlights followed by a link to the actual chart. I urge you to take a look at it.

Highlights of THE PELOSI INDEX include:
(Score = percent of time voting for Pelosi’s agenda)

    1. 226  Democrats received a score of 75% or higherCHART
    2. 150  Democrats received a 100% score by always siding with Pelosi.
    3.   27  Democrats in Districts won by McCain received a score of 75% or higher. CHART
    4.   28  Blue Dog Democrats received a score of 75% or higherCHART
    5.    8  Blue Dog Democrats received a 100% score.
    6.   13  Blue Dogs in Districts won by McCain received a score of 75% or higher.
    7. 135  Republicans received a 0% score having never sided with Pelosi. CHART

Another less known group worth looking into, if you’re into smaller government is Downsize DC. Make sure you read their vision statement.

2010: The Year the Second Amendment Dies?

    Posted on January 13, 2010. Filed under: Enemies of The State, General Info | Tags: , , , , , , |

I don’t like what my gut is telling me. The constant assault by UN driven policy in the United States. With all of the executive orders being signed, not just the ones signed by President Obama since taking office, but going back many years as detailed in a column I wrote several months back, something is going on. A closer look at the coming assault later this year on our guns makes everything make a little more sense. It’s all here. I am not telling you what to think, but I am giving you a heads up – they ARE coming for your guns. What I lay out here is just the tip of the iceberg. If you follow these leads given you here, you will see a virtual mountain of evidence. Please sign the petition against US participation in the UN Small Arms Treaty. The EO’s involving martial law are linked above. In addition are the two signed in the past week or two by the President. They are EO12425 (an amendment regarding allowing special privileges to Interpol) and (no number given) one creating a Council of Governors to oversee National Guard. The next meeting on the Small Arms Treaty is in New York in mid July. I hope the NRA will launch a tea party demonstration that dwarfs the 1.7 million who were at the capital on 09/12/2009. Please, if you care anything of the second amendment, watch this NRA video:

    Armed Violence and Development
Increasingly, it is understood that social and economic development can only take off if people feel safe in their communities. This concept brings together issues of disarmament and development in an exciting new way. The 2009 Secretary-General’s report:

    Summary

Armed violence — the intentional, threatened or actual use of arms to inflict death or injury — takes many forms, ranging from political to criminal to interpersonal violence, and appears in a wide range of contexts. Armed violence not only destroys lives, it also damages infrastructure and property, limits the delivery of public services, undermines investment in human, social and economic capital, and contributes to unproductive expenditures on security services. Armed violence undermines development and constitutes an impediment to the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals. The present report examines different aspects of the relationship between armed violence and development. Across diverse contexts, the risk factors and effects of armed violence are often similar. Young men make up the majority of perpetrators, as well as victims, of armed violence. In certain situations — including in some armed conflicts — women, girls and boys suffer from acute forms of sexual violence. Factors such as weak institutions, systemic economic and horizontal inequalities, exclusion of minority groups, unequal gender relations, limited education opportunities, persistent  unemployment, organized crime and illicit markets, and the availability of firearms, alcohol and drugs play an important role in shaping the onset, duration and severity of armed violence.

The United Nations system, regional and subregional organizations, national and local governments, and civil society organizations have mobilized to prevent and reduce armed violence through evidence-based interventions, but responses need to be scaled up. Armed violence prevention and reduction efforts must be carefully designed, targeted and monitored. Programming options include interventions related to conflict prevention and peacebuilding, to interventions targeting demand and risk factors at the individual, relationship and societal levels.

The report places particular emphasis on tackling the risks and effects of armed violence and underdevelopment. This includes implementing existing conventions and agreements associated with armed violence and development; improving the effectiveness of armed violence prevention and reduction policies through investment in the production, analysis and use of evidence; strengthening capacities to diagnose, articulate strategies and implement programmes; developing measurable goals, targets and indicators for armed violence prevention and reduction; building partnerships among the United Nations system and with regional organizations, national authorities and civil society to ensure coherent policy and programming; increasing resources for armed violence prevention and reduction; and fostering greater international action.

    V. Observations and recommendations

    63. Tackling armed violence successfully requires coordinated responses that draw on different areas of expertise. Many Governments, civil society actors and United Nations entities are starting to work together to address risk factors and the negative effects of armed violence on development, but the international response is still somewhat fragmented. In bringing together donors, Governments of affected States and civil society, as well as in uniting core competencies and developing good practices, the United Nations system is well-positioned to help catalyse more coherent, comprehensive, coordinated and integrated initiatives, and to encourage targeted armed violence prevention and reduction policies and programmes at the international, national and local levels.

    64. In order to be successful, policy responses must involve meaningful and legitimate local ownership, and full partnerships between Governments and civil society. They must also be integrated into regional and subregional approaches.

    65. In order to be effective in its role as a convenor and catalyst, the United Nations system, as well as national and local governments and civil society, will need to scale up support to affected States in designing and implementing armed violence prevention and response strategies. The following recommendations are proposed:

    (a) Strengthen the implementation of existing global conventions and agreements. There is a range of existing agreements that can contribute to the prevention and reduction of armed violence. United Nations agencies should support national Governments to uphold, implement and strengthen existing global and regional norms and measures, including relevant international and regional treaties, conventions and other instruments that contribute to the reduction and prevention of all forms of armed violence. These include the Firearms Protocol; the Programme of Action; the universal conventions and protocols against terrorism; the three conventions on narcotic drugs; the Universal Declaration of Human Rights; the International Covenants on Civil and Political Rights and on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights; the conventions on the rights of women and children; Security Council resolutions 1325 (2000) and 1820 (2008) on women, peace and security; and the 2005 World Summit Outcome document. There should also be a concerted effort to ensure that international norms and standards are reflected and implemented at the national and local levels through the adoption of national legislation and other domestic measures.

    (b) Improve the effectiveness of armed violence prevention and reduction policies and programmes through investments in the production, analysis and use of evidence. Effective approaches to armed-violence prevention and reduction will require investments by national Governments and international organizations in high-quality data-gathering and analysis capacities. Comprehensive, reliable and timely information is critical for informed policymaking and programming, monitoring and evaluation, and the forecasting of future trends and needs. This will involve ongoing and baseline data collection and analysis, the regular transfer of knowledge and lessons learned and innovative approaches to bring evidence and analysis into the programming process. The most comprehensive picture of conflict, non-conflict and interpersonal armed violence is likely to be obtained from a combination of data drawn from the public health and criminal justice systems, combined with population-based surveys, civil society monitoring, as well as rich historical and cultural research. Routine monitoring and evaluation of armed violence prevention programmes will increase the range of evidence-based options to prevent armed violence available to national authorities, local authorities and civil society.

    (c) Strengthen national and local capacities for armed violence prevention and reduction. States have the primary responsibility for preventing and reducing armed violence. Multilateral and bilateral agencies can support Governments of affected countries by strengthening national and local capacities to address armed violence, including capacities to collect reliable data on the scope and scale of armed violence and victimization, and on different risk and resilience factors. This could include the development of national armed violence prevention and reduction strategies, investments in national and local surveillance systems, establishment of effective criminal justice systems based upon the rule of law, including reinforcement of counter-terrorism and policing capacities, and support for programmes targeting specific risk factors and at-risk groups. International agencies and national Governments can also ensure that armed violence prevention and reduction practices are integrated into wider development strategies, such as United Nations Development Assistance Frameworks, Poverty Reduction Strategy Papers, and other national and local plans. Local actors and in particular governments, community authorities (including local governments and community peace and security committees), research institutions and the media should be supported and strengthened in order to design, implement and measure the effectiveness of local strategies and interventions. Several United Nations stakeholders can be involved in these activities, including the three United Nations regional centres for peace and disarmament.

    (d) Develop measurable goals, targets and indicators for armed-violence prevention and reduction. A growing body of evidence demonstrates how armed violence hinders the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals and, more generally, social, economic, political and human development. Yet armed violence reduction efforts are seldom incorporated into strategies for achieving the Millennium Development Goals. The Millennium Development Goal Review Process, starting in 2010, provides an opportunity to consider the reduction of armed violence as an important requisite to meeting the Millennium Development Goals, in particular through the development and endorsement of a set of goals, targets and indicators to achieve measurable reductions in armed violence and tangible improvements in human security. Developing measurable goals on armed violence towards 2015 will offer the opportunity to integrate security-related themes into the possible follow-up of the Millennium Development Goals (see S/2008/258).

We were warned about communism in America, we just refused to listen

Posted on January 12, 2010. Filed under: Enemies of The State, General Info | Tags: , , , |

We were told, America.. we just refused to listen. Complacency is the only weapon they need. Please understand how far long our government is toward communism.

I found this fairly vintage post on Rense.com and knew it needed to be shared:

    Communist Goals (1963) Congressional Record–Appendix, pp. A34-A35 January 10, 1963

Current Communist Goals EXTENSION OF REMARKS OF HON. A. S. HERLONG, JR. OF FLORIDA IN THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES Thursday, January 10, 1963 .

Mr. HERLONG. Mr. Speaker, Mrs. Patricia Nordman of De Land, Fla., is an ardent and articulate opponent of communism, and until recently published the De Land Courier, which she dedicated to the purpose of alerting the public to the dangers of communism in America.

At Mrs. Nordman’s request, I include in the RECORD, under unanimous consent, the following “Current Communist Goals,” which she identifies as an excerpt from “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen:

[From “The Naked Communist,” by Cleon Skousen]

    1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.

    2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.

    3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.

    4. Permit free trade between all nations regardless of Communist affiliation and regardless of whether or not items could be used for war.

    5. Extension of long-term loans to Russia and Soviet satellites.

    6. Provide American aid to all nations regardless of Communist domination.

    7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N.

    8. Set up East and West Germany as separate states in spite of Khrushchev’s promise in 1955 to settle the German question by free elections under supervision of the U.N.

    9. Prolong the conferences to ban atomic tests because the United States has agreed to suspend tests as long as negotiations are in progress.

    10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N.

    11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as a one-world government with its own independent armed forces. (Some Communist leaders believe the world can be taken over as easily by the U.N. as by Moscow. Sometimes these two centers compete with each other as they are now doing in the Congo.)

    12. Resist any attempt to outlaw the Communist Party.

    13. Do away with all loyalty oaths.

    14. Continue giving Russia access to the U.S. Patent Office.

    15. Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States.

    16. Use technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil

    rights.

    17. Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers’ associations. Put the party line in textbooks.

    18. Gain control of all student newspapers.

    19. Use student riots to foment public protests against programs or organizations which are under Communist attack.

    20. Infiltrate the press. Get control of book-review assignments, editorial writing, policy-making positions.

    21. Gain control of key positions in radio, TV, and motion pictures.

    22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to “eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.”

    23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. “Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art.”

    24. Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them “censorship” and a violation of free speech and free press.

    25. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio, and TV.

    26. Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as “normal, natural, healthy.”

    27. Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with “social” religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a “religious crutch.”

    28. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principle of “separation of church and state.”

    29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

    30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the “common man.”

    31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the “big picture.” Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.

    32. Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture–education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

    33. Eliminate all laws or procedures which interfere with the operation of the Communist apparatus.

    34. Eliminate the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

    35. Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI.

    36. Infiltrate and gain control of more unions.

    37. Infiltrate and gain control of big business.

    38. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies. Treat all behavioral problems as psychiatric disorders which no one but psychiatrists can understand [or treat].

    39. Dominate the psychiatric profession and use mental health laws as a means of gaining coercive control over those who oppose Communist goals.

    40. Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce.

    41. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents. Attribute prejudices, mental blocks and retarding of children to suppressive influence of parents.

    42. Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition; that students and special-interest groups should rise up and use [“]united force[“] to solve economic, political or social problems.

    43. Overthrow all colonial governments before native populations are ready for self-government.

    44. Internationalize the Panama Canal.

    45. Repeal the Connally reservation so the United States cannot prevent the World Court from seizing jurisdiction [over domestic problems. Give the World Court jurisdiction] over nations and individuals alike.

In 1985 an interview was done with a former KGB agent, trained in subversion techniques. Here he tells of the four basic steps to socially engineering or indoctrinating entire generations. Sound familiar?

Please don’t allow people to tell you you’re overreacting when you say our government is socialist, Marxist or fascist. You are telling the truth, they are the ones who are ignorant of history or are merely following Alinsky teachings to “ridicule your opponent”. Either way, you are correct and need to stand tall and make sure to tell people if they are doing nothing to protect freedom, they are protecting communism in America.

    Philosophy of Liberty

Posted on January 11, 2010. Filed under: General Info | Tags: |

Most of my readers are on the side of liberty and I don’t mean to preach to the choir. I found this 8 minute video very succinct and worthwhile. I not only invite you to watch this, but I hope you will freely share it with your family and friends. The principles put forth here illustrate the left of today are not “liberals”, they are fascists. They do not stand for liberty, but for it’s opposite.

Big or small, please join the fight- here are two upcoming important ways you can stand up for liberty:

Dissent is one thing – Self-destruction is another

Posted on January 10, 2010. Filed under: Army for Liberty Book Club, General Info, Soapbox | Tags: , , , , , |

The creeps are coming out from their dark holes.

Joy Behar says we can’t read. David Brooks says we are only about “against”. Janeane Garafalo, well, it’s too crude for words. The list of elitists attacking the Tea Party Movement is growing daily. Apparently they feel unequipped to battle our position of standing up for freedom, the constitution or our country, so they have to resort to third grade playground behavior.

I was never one to take sides. I’m a libertarian. I believe in strict constitutionalism. I truly believe all men (and women) are created equal – equal not meaning the exact same, but equal meaning entitled to equal privilege and opportunity. I believe people have a right to their own religion, opinion, etc…  As Americans, however, wouldn’t you think our common bond would be our country?

Apparently not. Dissent is one thing, but self-destruction is another.

I remember at election time, many felt as if there were no real choice for president. Left-wanna-be versus hard-left. No conservative candidate was allowed in that race. That also, in hindsight, explains McCain vouching for Obama’s character in that now famous audience interaction. Even President Bush was not a true conservative. We have not had a true conservative leader for many decades. While I feel President Reagan clearly understood the looming fascist threat, he was not even a true conservative as he refused to defend our borders.

Sarah Palin was and is a true conservative, and you clearly saw how the McCain campaign allowed the media to make mincemeat of her without allowing her to adequately defend herself or speak her mind. Please recall, it was Carl Cameron of Fox News who gleefully broke the “wardrobe” scandal right after the campaign. She couldn’t even get a fair shake at Fox. Of course, they are members of the Council on Foreign Relations, just as the other large networks are. It’s important to note, as one must not even rely on Fox for unbiased news, no matter what their slogan is. Citizens are responsible for finding out the truth for themselves.

Progressives on both sides of the political isle are hell bent on taking down our country. Right now, it’s the democrats taking more of our freedoms daily, along with our financial stability, both national and personal. Republicans did a pretty darn good job when last they ran the show, too.

Although there are no weapons yet being fired, this is a civil war. It’s important to realize that and to make sure your friends, family, neighbors know that as well. We are truly locking into an “us versus them” battle. The weapon of choice by “We The People” has been complacency. Those who are constitutionalists, who wish America to remain a free, capitalist and sovereign nation have been weak. So weak as a matter of fact, progressives no longer fear us or any retribution we can manage to hurl at them. We have no one to blame but our self. We voted the crooks in, we turned our back for decades and allowed the fascist agenda to become firmly implanted in our government.

Now as we begin to stand up, is it any wonder they laugh at us, as a parent would to a small child declaring their independence?

I came across a book I would like to suggest and add to the book club. Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries by Naomi Wolf. I am asking all to read this “manifesto” of sorts. The price at Amazon is $8.35. I have linked it here to enable you to view contents, etc.. You may be able to find it equally as cheap somewhere near you to avoid shipping. The product description reads as follows:

As the practice of democracy becomes a lost art, Americans are increasingly desperate for a restored nation. Many have a general sense that the “system” is in disorder — if not on the road to functional collapse. But though it is easy to identify our political problems, the solutions are not always as clear. In Give Me Liberty: A Handbook for American Revolutionaries, bestselling author Naomi Wolf illustrates the breathtaking changes that can take place when ordinary citizens engage in the democratic system the way the founders intended and tells how to use that system, right now, to change your life, your community, and ultimately, the nation.

Another book I am adding to the list is Ron Paul’s Revolution: The Manifesto which is priced at $10.19 at Amazon. The product description of this book is as follows:

This Much Is True: You Have Been Lied To.

    • The government is expanding.
    • Taxes are increasing.
    • More senseless wars are being planned.
    • Inflation is ballooning.
    • Our basic freedoms are disappearing.

The Founding Fathers didn’t want any of this. In fact, they said so quite clearly in the Constitution of the United States of America. Unfortunately, that beautiful, ingenious, and revolutionary document is being ignored more and more in Washington. If we are to enjoy peace, freedom, and prosperity once again, we absolutely must return to the principles upon which America was founded. But finally, there is hope . . .

In THE REVOLUTION,Texas congressman and presidential candidate Ron Paul has exposed the core truths behind everything threatening America, from the real reasons behind the collapse of the dollar and the looming financial crisis, to terrorism and the loss of our precious civil liberties. In this book, Ron Paul provides answers to questions that few even dare to ask.

Despite a media blackout, this septuagenarian physician-turned-congressman sparked a movement that has attracted a legion of young, dedicated, enthusiastic supporters . . . a phenomenon that has amazed veteran political observers and made more than one political rival envious. Candidates across America are already running as “Ron Paul Republicans.”

“Dr. Paul cured my apathy,” says a popular campaign sign. THE REVOLUTION may cure yours as well.

One final recommendation I have is Lord Nigel Lawson’s new book, An Appeal To Reason which is available at Amazon for $9.95. The product description reads:

“Clear, analytical and compelling.” -The Economist

In this well-informed and hard-hitting response to the scaremongering of the climate alarmists, Nigel Lawson, former Secretary of State for Energy under Margaret Thatcher, argues that it is time for us to take a cool look at global warming. Lawson carefully and succinctly examines all aspects of the global warming issue: the science, the economics, the politics, and the ethics. He concludes that the conventional wisdom on the subject is suspect on a number of grounds, that global warming is not the devastating threat to the planet it is widely alleged to be, and that the remedy that is currently being proposed, which is in any event politically unattainable, would be worse that the threat it is supposed to avert. Argued with logic, common sense, and even wit, and thoroughly sourced and referenced, Lawson has written a long overdue corrective to the barrage of spin and hype to which the politicians and media have been subjecting the public on this important issue.

The three books I have asked you to consider are moderately priced, which is important to me, as in these tough times, I am not looking to add to anyone’s burden. Education is priceless, however and it is so important to ARM YOURSELF WITH THE KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED TO DEFEND YOURSELF AND YOUR COUNTRY.

I leave you with the patriotic song lyrics, sung by soldiers, ironically, on both sides during the civil war (the North’s version appears below as I felt the reference to freeing the slaves was particularly apropos. While this song is well over a century old, it could very well be the battle cry of the second civil war as well:

    THE BATTLE CRY OF FREEDOM
Yes we’ll rally round the flag, boys, we’ll rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom,
We will rally from the hillside, we’ll gather from the plain,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!

    (Chorus)
The Union forever! Hurrah, boys, hurrah!
    Down with the traitor, up with the star;
While we rally round the flag, boys, rally once again,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!

We are springing to the call with a million freemen more,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
And we’ll fill our vacant ranks of our brothers gone before,
< Shouting the battle cry of freedom!

    Chorus

We will welcome to our numbers the loyal, true and brave,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
And although he may be poor, not a man shall be a slave,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!

    Chorus

So we’re springing to the call from the East and from the West,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!
And we’ll hurl the rebel crew from the land we love best,
Shouting the battle cry of freedom!

    Chorus
