9-12 March on Washington

 What a great day in America! On Saturday September 12,2009 a new day dawned in our country. Estimated by park officials at 1.2 million people, the enormous crowd stormed our capital. They came with signs, with heartfelt concerns, with a sense our freedoms and our futures are being stolen  from us. They marched singing patriotic songs, chanting and hoping that a government deaf to this typcally silent majority would  HEAR THEM NOW! They came from every corner of our country and with a plethera of concerns, but all with a common theme. Nearly everyone there wanted to impress on government officials and fellow citizens our country and constitution are in mortal danger. They came with hope we the citizens of this country could reclaim the sense the country and it’s future belong to us and not to the corrupt and self serving politicians who hold hostage our government. Only the days to come will show this had any impact. I can assure you this is only the beginning. I can tell you personally that as I marched along with the throng of patriots who filled the streets for as far as the eye could see, there was a shared sense of empowerment that could be felt by everyone. There was also a shared sense of commitment we would not relent until the country was returned to We The People from the hands of special interests trying to co-opt our lives and our futures.
