I recently published a large list of tools for citizen watchdogs hoping to aid those who wish to join the growing multitudes of citizens who wish to stamp out government corruption. If you did not see the list, you may access at :
That’s all well and good, but.. what do you do if you find something “fishy”? Without a flashy website like (now defunct) to report it to, what should you do with the information.
There are several columnists that will act as loudspeakers for you. Michelle Malkin (, Glenn Beck ( ), Andrew Breitbart (, World Net Daily ( and
many more. I would not necessarily trust your local paper, but use your judgment on local issues. For national issues you need to contact someone who could actually do something about it. I certainly would not trust any network affiliates at this point, either. There are also sites like Newsbusters and Media Research Center
You can also report directly to the following people:
Federal Inspector(s) General can be reached at : They are listed alphabetically by Division. Each has a hotline number and some have websites of their own. You may be interested to know there are several that investigate subject’s dear to any watchdogs heart. Namely:

News for 08/17/2009- Special Edition- A NEW AND BREWING CRISIS

Let’s Take A Look At Mark Lloyd, FCC Diversity Officer (Czar), and Where He Stands On Issues  by Desiree Paquette

Last Friday news broke which suggested a new agenda for the Federal Communications Commission, the government entitiy which issues licenses to broadcasters and broadcasting companies throughout the US. Under the Obama Administration, there is a new position at the FCC called the Diversity Officer. The Diversity Officer has the ability to put into place new regulations. Our new Diversity Czar has an agenda all his own, formulated over several years. This agenda entails creating a new license fee for private broadcast compaines, EQUAL TO THE ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET OF THAT COMPANY, then redistributing those fees to public broadcast stations to hire, in effect, minority talent and minority owned broadcast entities. There is not one entity who could survive paying their entire annual budget as a new tax, thus as the vast majority of privately owned broadcast entities promote and give voice to middle America, this overwhelming majority of the public would be left with NO VOICE and certainly NO DISSENTING VOICE for the policies and programs put forth by the minority far left segment of the population.

Let’s take a closer look at our new “Diversity Czar”, shall we?

Mark Lloyd has a very distinctive pedigree which cerrtainly fits the bill for a Diversity Czar. His history shows him to have started in broadcasting at NBC and CNN, then moving on to degrees from U of M and Georgetown University. According to his bio posted online at

Mark Lloyd is a senior fellow at the George Soros funded Center for American Progress focusing on communications policy issues, including universal service, advanced telecommunications deployment, media concentration and diversity. From the fall of 2002 until the summer of 2004, Mr. Lloyd was a Martin Luther King, Jr. visiting scholar at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he taught communications policy and wrote and conducted research on the relationship between communications policy and strong democratic communities. He also served as the executive director of the Civil Rights Forum on Communications Policy, a non-profit, non-partisan project he co-founded in 1997 to bring civil rights principles and advocacy to the communications policy debate.

Let’s take a closer look at his past positions. According to Civil The Civil Rights Forum on Communications Policy, it deals with.. The rules that govern the National Information Infrastructure concern and impact us all. Communications policy will determine whether all citizens will be able to participate effectively in the political process, have access to the public airwaves, share in the fruits of publicly-funded research, or maintain their privacy. Communications policy is a civil rights issue. The Civil Rights Forum works to bring civil rights organizations and community groups into the current debate over the future of our media environment. The Forum is a project of the Tides Center, a national non-profit organization which manages hundreds of projects that promote change toward a healthy society — one which is founded on principles of social justice, broadly shared economic opportunity and a robust democratic process. The twin goals of the Forum are to introduce civil rights principles and advocacy to the implementation of the 1996 Telecommunications Act, and to reframe the discussion over the role of media in our society around the needs of communities and the rights of citizens.

An article posted at at shows the newly appointed assoiciate general counsel and chief diversity officer at the Federal Communications Commission, is having a rough time of it during his first days on the job. Lloyd has come under fire from some right-wing media sites, after two an article Lloyd authored in 2007 urging liberals to file complaints against conservative talk radio stations came to light.

In “Forget the Fairness Doctrine,” Lloyd writes that conservative radio stations have abonded the bottom line as their primary motivator, and are purely ideological organs. He argues, however, that ressurecting the Fairness Doctrine, which forced radio and television stations to give equal time to opposing viewpoints, is not the answer. He does, however, suggest the private radio broadcasters, due to the fact that they use public airwaves, should be required to donate and support public radio.

In 2009 Center for American Progress’s Progressive Media project emerged as a major communications war room on behalf of Obama’s domestic and foreign policy agenda and CAP became a strong advocate for escalation in Afghanistan. Progressive Media is run through the Center for American Project Action Fund, the more political 5014 arm of CAP. It coordindates closely with the Common Purpose Project, an effort to create message discipline among the pro-Obama organizations, with a direct tie to the White House. The Center for American Progress — which has emerged as perhaps Washington’s most influential idea factory in the age of Obama — is launching a major new war room, to be staffed by nearly a dozen people, that will focus on driving the White House’s message and agenda, I’m told. … The new war room – which is called Progressive Media – represents a serious ratcheting up of efforts to present a united liberal front in the coming policy wars. The goal of the war room will be to do hard-hitting research that boils down complex policy questions into usable talking points and narratives that play well in the media and build public support for the White House’s policy goals. … The war room – a joint project of CAP Action Fund and Media Matters Action Network — will be headed by well-known liberal operative Tara McGuinness, who worked on John Kerry’s presidential campaign and was a major player in the anti-war movement during the Bush years.” Jennifer Palmieri is the project’s communications director.

Mark Lloyd has served on the boards of directors of dozens of national and local organizations, including the Independent Television Service, OMB Watch, the Center for Democracy and Technology, and the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights Education Fund. He has also served as a consultant to the Clinton White House, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation, the Open Society Institute and the Smithsonian Institution. The Center for Democracy and Technology (CDT) is a 501(3) “non-profit public policy organization dedicated to promoting the democratic potential of today’s open, decentralized global Internet,” according to its website. CDT’s stated mission is “to conceptualize, develop, and implement public policies to preserve and enhance free expression, privacy, open access, and other democratic values in the new and increasingly integrated communications medium.” In 1994, Jonah Seiger “helped found and served as Communications Director for the Center for Democracy and Technology. “CDT pursues its mission through research and public policy development in a consensus-building process based on convening and operating broad-based working groups composed of public interest and commercial representatives of divergent views to explore solutions to critical policy issues. In addition, CDT promotes its own policy positions in the United States and globally through public policy advocacy, online grassroots organizing with the Internet user community and public education campaigns, and litigation, as well as through the development of technology standards and online information resources.”

At an article from Fox News: comes the following: The FCC’s new chief diversity officer laid out a battle plan two years ago for liberal activists to target conservative talk radio stations, and critics say they are concerned that he now will want to bring back the “Fairness Doctrine.” Mark Lloyd, who was named the associate general counsel and chief diversity officer at the Federal Communications Commission last month, is under attack for authoring a June 2007 report entitled “The Structural Imbalance of Political Talk Radio” and a subsequent essay, “Forget the Fairness Doctrine”. “What he lays out is a battle plan to use the FCC to threaten stations’ licenses with whom they do not agree with politically, and now he’s at the FCC waiting to take their calls,” Motley told “This is not about serving the local interest, it’s about political opposition.” In February, a report in the American Spectator said aides to Rep. Henry Waxman, D-Calif., met with FCC staff to discuss ways to re-enact Fairness Doctrine policies and to apply them to the Internet as well. Both the FCC and Waxman’s office denied the report.

Bought and paid for “Community” organizations such as ACORN, far left wing organizations such as Apollo Alliance, Tides Center and Center for American Progress, and corruption in the form of SEIU, are quickly taking the place of the Constitution of The United States of America. Please take a few moments to watch this video, in which Glenn Beck explains the interconnectivity and undue influence these groups are having on the Obama Administration. The above video also details how the Apollo Alliance developed what became the Stimulus Bill.

Our government is turning into a Chicago style scam. Please, look for yourself and become aware. They would have you believe it’s Democrat vs Republican. IT IS NOT! It’s much different than that. Most democrats would not endorse the coruption that is gripping our government. Neither would Independents, Libertarians, Republicans.

Free speech is turning into free speech only if it agrees with the Administration’s view point. The majority of the population is being dismissed. Opportunities for citizens to speak out are being filled instead with paid operatives (see help wanted ads in column from 08/14/2009), SEIU and ACORN members, while the authentic public is locked out and left standing in the street.

There is no substitute for knowledge. Your country is being taken away from you on a daily basis. It is important that you realize what is going on. If you condone it, do nothing. If you DON’T, please do what you are able to do. Pass along informative emails, attend a local tea party. If you can afford to do so, JOIN US 09/12 for the march on Washington. details at

Your Duty As An American Citizen by Desiree Paquette
Stopping Futile Procedures for the Terminally Ill Can Lower Costs says Obama from LA Times
In a nationally televised event at the White House, Obama also said families need better information so they don’t unthinkingly approve “additional tests or additional drugs that the evidence shows is not necessarily going to improve care.” and he added: “Maybe you’re better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller.” … this in addition to suggesting to decrease coverage for elderly and infirm. Here is another take by

Part 5: Who holds REAL control – Trial Lawyers
Lawyers Long Term Contribution Trends (over 1 trillion dollars over 20 years)
Lawyers PAC Contributions to Federal Candidates

Trial Lawyers’ Influence
As trial lawyers’ wealth and political influence are used to manipulate our legal system, American citizens pay the price – through lost job opportunities, diminished access to healthcare, higher consumer prices and reduced access to courtrooms filled with frivolous cases. The overall high cost of our tort system means that every American pays an average of $835 annually, according to Tillinghast/TowersPerrin’s annual report on the costs of the U.S. legal system Americans will continue to pay the price until trial lawyers’ abuses of the legal system are reined in once and for all.

Our civil justice system is under attack by personal injury lawyers who game the legal system for personal profit in the name of “consumer protection.”  The reality is that consumers are the ones getting fleeced.  These abusive lawsuits harm the economy and job creation, threaten our access to affordable, quality health care, and  delay justice for the truly injured by clogging our courts. Ultimately, lawsuit abuse hurts all of us.

The will of the people is the only legitimate foundation of any government, and to protect its free expression should be our first object. – Thomas Jefferson, First Inaugural Address, 1801
National Taxpayers Union Alert
1,200 page bill with $2 trillion tax hike being jammed through Congress. Nancy Pelosi and other folks in House Leadership are attempting to jam a 1,200 page bill through Congress in a surprise move. This beauty contains a $2 trillion tax increase. That’s two trillion, with a T, or more than $6,600 for every man, woman, and child alive in America today. Jam Congress with emails and calls now! See article:
How The Game Is Played
White House officials phoned a blogger from a popular left-leaning Web site on Monday evening to tell him that President Barack Obama had been impressed with his online reporting about Iran. Could the writer pass along a question from an Iranian during the president’s news conference on Tuesday? Of course. The next day, The Huffington Post’s Nico Pitney got a prime location in the White House Briefing Room and was the second reporter Obama picked for a question.

U.N. to Emerge as Global IRS
While our media sleep, the United Nations is proceeding, with President Obama’s acquiescence, to implement a global plan to create a new international socialist order financed by global taxes on the American people. The Conference on the World Financial and Economic Crisis and its Impact on Development that begins on Wednesday will consider adoption of a document calling for “new voluntary and innovative sources of financing initiatives to provide additional stable sources of development finance…” This is U.N.-speak for global taxes. They are anything but “voluntary” for the people forced to pay them. The most “popular” proposals, which could generate tens of billions of dollars in revenue for global purposes, involve taxes on greenhouse gas emissions and financial transactions such as stock trades. Now, as President, Obama can bypass the Congress and simply direct his Ambassador to the U.N. Susan Rice to approve the U.N. conference document. Then the pressure will be increased on Congress to come up with the money and satisfy our “international commitments.”  The Stiglitz document explains, “Some of the initiatives that have been proposed encompass ‘solidarity levies’ or, more generally, taxation for global objectives. Some countries have already decreed solidarity levies on airline tickets but there is a larger set of proposals. There have also been suggestions to auction global natural resourcessuch as ocean fishing rights and pollution emission permitsfor global environmental programs.” It goes on to say, “The suggestion of taxes that could be earmarked for global objectives has a long history. To avert their being perceived as encroachments on participating countries’ fiscal sovereignty, it has been agreed that these taxes should be nationally imposed, but internationally coordinated.” So the nations of the world, including the U.S., will collect the taxes but then turn them over to institutions such as the U.N. The world body will function, in effect, like a global IRS.

National Socialism Part 2- only the names have been changed

As President Obama routinely exceeds the US Constitution and carves a new country out of the wreckage he’s already wrought, he’s brought twenty or so new men and women into this heady mix.  They have never been used before and their jobs exist way outside the three branches of government we learned in school – the legislative, executive, and judicial. These are the new Czars, like the Car Czar, the Intergovernmental Czar, or even the new Great Lakes Czar, though what some of these folks actually do is as murky as Lake Michigan in March or an expansive Obama speech in support of the little folks in Iran who are trying to crack open a window of freedom. …..And if you substitute the cherubic faces, toothy grins, and blank stares of Dick Turban, Chris Dodd, and Harry Reid for similarly red nosed, rosy cheeked, and dull stares of the paladins who always voted yes for President Hermann Goering in the Reichstag, you’ll find that similar “yes-man” mind-set.  The utter disdain for each one’s constitution is the same.  The only differences are the Brown Shirts, ties, slacks, daggers on the Sam Browne belts, and polished boots v. the Brooks Brothers suit ensembles with the rep ties that are all the rage today.

Most States Lose Under HR 2454 Consumers in red colored states will pay more for electricity to make up for the shortfall in allowances (dollars in millions). Michigan, for example falls short by more than $334 million. To make up the shortfall, red states will have to seek high-cost, non-CO2 emitting electricity sources, reduce electricity production and consumption, or purchase allowances from the green states (like CA and NY- only 10 states total), or purchase domestic and international offsets, likely a combination of the three.

Word From The Hill on the Waxman-Peterson Backroom Deal

TMR has learned that tonight, House Agriculture Committee Chairman Collin Peterson, has struck a backroom deal with House Energy and Commerce Chairman Henry Waxman regarding Speaker Pelosi’s National Energy Tax that will Cost 2.5 Million American jobs and hit every region of the country. Our source on the hill says: While Peterson managed to re-arrange a few deck chairs, this bill remains an economic Titanic for America, especially families in rural areas. If you’re writing on this, please feel free to use the quote below from me. “The backroom deal struck tonight by Chairman Peterson will not protect rural America from Speaker Pelosi’s national energy tax. Though he eked out a few trivial concessions, the core of this legislation remains the same: a job-killing tax increase that will hit every single American, especially middle class families in the heartland of America.”

It’s Not Too Late To Fight Cap and Trade- But You Better Hurry

Perhaps the most destructive legislation in our country’s history will, as soon as this week, be voted on in the House of Representatives: the Waxman-Markey tax bill in the guise of addressing climate change. It will have adverse and lingering consequences for every American. It will raise the cost of electricity in our homes, the fuel for our cars and the energy that produces our manufacturing jobs, with little or no environmental benefit. It is not too late to tell Congress to kill this flawed bill. Call your representative in Congress and ask him or her to vote no on the Waxman-Markey climate bill (otherwise known as cap-and-tax) and support affordable energy, American jobs and our quality of life.

US Judge fines 40 citizens $2K each for Signing Petition

What is happening to our country? A judge fines citizens for signing petition to recall four county supervisors. Petition is right given by the Bill of Rights. Check this out. The judge should be recalled!

Part 4: Who holds REAL control – Council on Foreign Relations

Carol Quigley, Professor of History at Georgetown University, stated, “The Council of Foreign Relations is the American Branch of a society which originated in England and believes national boundaries should be obliterated and one-world rule established.” They hold regular private meetings including members, and very select guests. Occasionally they will hold a public meeting, and invite the open press (including C-Span). The image of the CFR as a closed-shop bi-partisan discussion forum for the foreign policy establishment has fuelled criticism that the organisation and its members are controlling world policy and events. In 1938 the Council created numerous Committees on Foreign Relations throughout the county, in 1995 the Committees became a separate organization under the umbrella of the American Committees on Foreign Relations in Washington D.C..

I spend hours a day pouring over blogs, online papers, and other outlets for news… Twitter being a prime example. I do this because I love my country. I do this because I really feel our country and our liberty, not to mention our hard earned wages, are in terrible jeopardy.

This is not because we have democrats in power, of late the republicans have not been much better. This is because the government no longer cares what we think, regardless of who is in power. It matters not what side of the fence you’re on – just that you are proud to be an American.

I know many people no longer watch the news as they feel it depressing, or perhaps they just have no time. Even if the do watch the news, most of the news outlets and the papers selectively issue the news with little regard for true journalism.

This includes even FOX, but they are by far the most reliable of available sources on television. They just get tripped up with thinking the tabloid news is real. Instead of talking about what really matters, they get tied up in the crap from Hollywood, or sensational gossip, etc.. Just like others in the “news” biz. Like a lullabye it puts American minds to rest. WAKE UP!

What can you do to take your country back? It’s not as hard as you may think. I have put myself in contact with people like me, who care about the country. Who care about our liberty and freedom, the quality of our lives, and the future of our children and grandchildren. Of the many alerts I receive in a day, I pass forward in email those I feel are of dyer importance. These come from watchdog groups national in scope, national institutions, truth in news organizations, etc..

I feel that as a citizen who believes in the country the way our forefathers meant it to be, it is my obligation to help educate our fellow citizens to the overwhelming assault on our country. The new assault is much quieter than 09/11, much sneakier and hard to detect unless you are paying close attention. Worst of all, it’s from the people we elected to office to represent us! Most people are not even noticing…and may think the “recession”, the housing crisis, the losses in the stock market and other tragic events of late are just dumb luck. No, really.

Please help. Help by passing these items along to your friends who may be too busy to pay attention. It really will matter. It takes only seconds a day. It enables any of us with internet and email to join the fight to get our country back. The only way we can fight this battle to win is to educate the public. Make them aware of what is really going on, not just what the national media wants them to know.

Many people gave their lives for our liberty.. all we have to do to keep it is pay attention and fight back! Most of us want to be good citizens and good Americans, it’s only the information needed that’s lacking. I know there are many more on our side than on the side that wants our country transmuted to socialism or fascism. Join in

You, too, can link with people. If you have not yet joined twitter, please sign up, it’s free. Hook up to me if you want .. my screen name is DesireePaquette … you can see who I “follow” (which is where most of my alerts come from) and choose to follow them too, if you want. Then you will also be on the forefront of fighting peacefully for our country. Our country really needs you to help.
