While watching Fox News at 3pm I had the displeasure of listening to anchor Shepard Smith ridicule Tea Party Participants about making threats against Congress and calling Congressmen names. He told us to “relax”. He said we should stop telling everyone the government is turning Socialist.
Obviously, I turned off the television.
What an arrogant ass. Obviously he is no better than the other lamestream media.
First of all, the name calling incident never happened. No one and I repeat, no one has video of it, although it reportedly happened in front of thousands of patriots, many of whom were rolling tape. Secondly, that is not indicative of the protestors, who, are there protesting government control over citizens lives on behalf of ALL citizens. Thirdly, the incident happened after SEIU buses pulled up with a few hundred counter protestors. So why do patriots get blamed? Because we are a threat to the left.
This is evidenced by the turn in polls against government intrusion into citizens lives.
The media did not ridicule the left when Rep Bunning got death threats a few weeks back for asking Congress to fund unemployment benefits out of the tons of leftover stimulus cash. Imagine.
Not that I condone death threats or violence, let me be clear- I DO NOT. Don’t ask me to have pity on these Congresspeople though. No way! After the virtual rape of the will of the people, pity is one thing I do not have for them. You reap what you sew. Period. They should look up Karma in the dictionary.
They will do anything necessary to undermine the authority of the people including trumped up allegations, etc..
Oh, poor Stupak got a call from an angry woman…oh… that’s scary. Whatever. He made himself a target by his incredibly self-serving actions. I’m sure you saw the video (I posted it over the weekend) of him telling constituents, to their dismay I might add, that he would be voting for the health care bill even if abortions were funded. Thing is he tried to make a name for himself in order to secure his re-election in the fairly rural district he serves. He knew his district is becoming increasingly concerned with the ultra liberal behavior of the Congressional Dems, so voila.. he took a phony stand in order to dissuade voters from changing sides. Oops. Busted.

Now, while I know the lamestream media thinks we are all too stupid to read, it is apparent the government IS becoming socialist. So why in the hell would they think we would just sit by the sidelines and watch??
Because, they have laid the foundation for the citizenry to do just that. Look at nearly every major city in the US. For decades the progressive rule book has been at play and anyone with a set of working eyes can see the result. I have written about that several times, too. But the progressives, and the elite media, including Mr. Smith, find it absurd that we would be so angry over what he called “one little bill”. They see themselves as “helpful”. They look at us not as “We the People” but, I am afraid, as “We the Peons”. Helpless, hopeless malcontents that need to be looked after. To some of them, the nanny state is their way of doing “God’s Work”. Those in power play upon that feeling to grow their ranks. To them it is about control…but that would not sell well, would it?
The media can’t move fast enough to tell the rest of the people in this country just waking up, that they will forget all about this by election time. No, really we won’t. I don’t think we will have a chance to. Congress already is discussing their next moves, which include Amnesty for illegals, counting prison populations in the census districts – both aimed to manipulate the voting districts and increase the number of registered democrats. Which is why the push after amnesty will be Universal Voter, which I discussed earlier this week. Then the crowning glory of Cap and Trade. Those are just the major trifecta to follow Health Care Non-reform. There are other things they will now have to push through quickly as well.
I have, on the far right of this blog page, included RSS feeds from those remaining in the media which will still tell the truth. Please get the bulk of your news from them. We have now come to a point in time where all cable and broadcast media spin the facts. Fox News had the reputation of being more right leaning than the unfair lamestream. This no longer holds true. Not only are they a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, they are partially owned now by Saudi Prince Al-Walid bin Talal. Please keep those two facts in mind and verify anything that does not sound right.
As far as the President being able to “gain control” over the American people – well, that my friends, is up to you and I. This is no time to rest. I know it’s hard work defending freedom, but we have it much easier than our family members and neighbors serving in the military. It is our duty to protect the Constitution from enemies – both foreign and DOMESTIC.
This is still a republic, IF WE CAN KEEP IT.

When I was born, more than a few decades ago, I was exactly two months early. My twin brother and I were given no hope to live. My brother weighed 2lbs 7oz at birth. I weighed 1lb 14oz. We were born at what was a very small community hospital which they called a “clinic”, with none of today’s modern equipment. By the hand of God, our doctor, the nurses and prayers of my parents, did we both survive.
Today a friend forwarded me a news story hitting the wire. It struck a chord.
At a Tennessee hospital, nine month old Gabriel Palmer’s life was hanging in the balance after an emergency appeal by a group called the Alliance Defense Fund. The press realease said a lawsuit had been filed after East Tennessee Children’s Hospital officials made the decision to abandon care for the baby, despite his family’s wishes to continue.
Baby Gabriel was born prematurely with a genetic abnormality, a club foot, and a narrow airway, but was said to flourish after being allowed to come home from the hospital in June. At home, he was fed through a tube and received some oxygen and medications, according to the press release. One weekend in October, when the baby’s regular doctors were unavailable, his mother took Gabriel to the ETCH emergency room complaining of breathing difficulties. At one point the baby went into shock, developed pulmonary vascular disease, and was placed on a respirator.
Today, Baby Gabriel is in stable condition, alert, active and responsive. His doctor has determined Gabriel could live “a long while”. The family reports that in recent days, while not sedated, he “spent time kicking his feet, tried to play with his stuffed animals, listened to the voices of his mother and grandmother and responded to his favorite music” , as evidenced by the new video shown here:
The press release goes on to say ETCH recently began to give up on Baby Gabriel, when on November 13th, the head of ETCH PICU, Dr. Kevin Brinkman, told Mrs. Palmer they would stop feeding him milk, stop giving him his meds, and disconnect his respirator. Staff considered his care “futile”, the press release continues. Brinkman went on to say the decision was a foregone conclusion but an “Ethics Panel” would meet the following Monday to make the final decision. He then said they have made their decision with no bearing as to the family’s wishes.
The family reports that after that conversation, the hospital stopped routine care of Baby Gabriel, including bathing, moisturizing, cut back on diaper changes, disallowed his physical therapy and have gone so far as to attempt to discourage the family from transferring the baby to another hospital.
We will continue to pray for Baby Gabriel and for his family. You may call the hospital Community Relations Office at 865-541-8165 to let them know your stance on this matter. Call the Senate while you are at it. Don’t delay.
Unfortunately, it seems today, with all the blessings of high tech medical equipment and persons skilled enough to use it, life has far less meaning than it has had in the past. The health care bill being debated in the Senate will make decisions like this commonplace. Just as it is calling for a reduction in mammograms and pap smears and limiting treatment for the elderly, it too, will limit care to the less perfect born among us.
How is that just? Who will we throw away?
The true cost of life is not totaled in the hospital bill, but rather in the promise of the life itself.
